Numbering 2000 allows the user to quickly create a Table of Contents without necessarily marking text -- when the Table is created, the user can include only the first sentence of numbered paragraphs. And with the mark buttons on the Numbering Toolbar, the user can easily mark exceptions, such as non-numbered text and headings that do not end in a period.

With Numbering 2000, the Table of Contents is dynamically updated each time the Table is generated. This allows the Table to update automatically so the user doesn't need to re-mark headings or edit field codes each time the document is revised and the Table updated.

When creating the TOC, the user can also include multiple schemes, define the TOC Scheme and format the Header/Footer text by using the Options tab.
