| Document and Private Schemes can be edited to fit specific document requirements and on-going numbering needs. The Edit Schemes feature from the Schemes menu in the Numbering Schemes dialog allows the user to edit each level of a scheme in one easily accessible place and helps to create stable numbering schemes. |
| To view the Numbering System features, go directly to a feature using the menu to the left or use the features arrows to step through the entire tour. |

The Edit Schemes dialog has three displays available - the Number dialog for editing the automatic numbering of the scheme, the Paragraph dialog for editing the paragraph formats of the scheme and the Extras dialog for editing other formatting such as font and font size. When working in Edit Scheme, the user also sees a preview document behind the dialog which updates as they enter and change information. The preview allows them to see the scheme as they are creating it. |
