MacPac Numbering
2000 includes three kinds of schemes available for users - Public,
Private and Document Schemes. Public Schemes are a firm or organization's
standard schemes and are maintained by the system administrator.
Because individual
users cannot directly edit the Public Schemes, the standard schemes
for the organization remain constant and always available. Users
can however, use a Public Scheme as the blueprint for creating
a Private or Document Scheme.
