All documents created with MacPac templates can be used as master documents with the MacPac Reuse function. Reuse allows variable information entered in a template dialog box for one document to be "reused" in order to quickly create a new document.

With Reuse, users can use information from one document to create a perfectly formatted new document - maintaining consistent Firm documents and eliminating possible document corruption when documents are reused using the "Save As" method.

Also, if there is text in the original document to be used in the new document, the text can be selected for inclusion in the new document.

For example, a user creates a pleading with a full caption and multi-attorney signature block. A few days later, a new pleading for the same case needs to be created. The user can open the first pleading and, using Reuse, open a new document dialog box with the fields populated with the first pleading's variable information.
